The Amazfit Band 7 answers one question: how much fitness tracker can you actually get at the bottom of the market? A great deal, it turns out. The 1.47-inch AMOLED display is genuinely large for a band — bright, sharp at 282 PPI, and legible in direct sun, which matters more here than in most markets. Health tracking runs on the BioTracker 3.0 optical sensor: continuous heart rate around the clock, blood oxygen readings, stress scoring and four-stage sleep analysis. There are more than 120 sport modes, eight of which the band starts on its own, and a 5 ATM rating that covers the pool, the shower and a downpour. There is no built-in GPS — the band borrows your phone's — and that single compromise is what buys both the price and the battery life. And the battery is the headline: up to 18 days of typical use, 28 days in saver mode, from a cell that refills in about two hours. Alexa is built in for voice queries when you have data, and offline voice commands keep the basics working when you do not. There is no subscription of any kind, and the free Zepp account is not tied to any country — so it works here exactly as it does anywhere else.
