What is GH Tech Store?

GH Tech Store was founded with a simple mission: make it easy and safe for Ghanaians to buy the technology they love. We source genuine products from trusted global brands — including USA-sourced items — and make them available for free pickup from our locations in Accra, Kumasi and Wa.

Is pickup really free?

Yes. We operate pickup only — there are no delivery fees and we do not offer courier delivery to home or office addresses. Order online and collect in person at no extra cost.

Why does everything say ‘Coming soon’?

Our current shipment is on its way to Ghana. We only make an item purchasable once it has landed, cleared customs and been checked in at a pickup point — nothing in the shop is charged for while it is still in transit. Everything you can see is what is arriving. Use Request an Item and we'll let you know the moment yours is here.

Do you take pre-orders or deposits?

Not on anything in the shop. Everything listed is paid for when you collect it, and we do not take pre-orders at all. The one exception is Request an Item: because we buy that item specifically for you, we ask for a 10% mobile money deposit once you have accepted the quote. It comes off your total in full — it is not a fee — and the remaining 90% is only due when the item has landed in Ghana and is ready for you.

Are your products genuine?

Absolutely. Every product is 100% authentic, brand-new and factory-sealed, sourced directly from authorized distributors and trusted brands. We do not sell refurbished or counterfeit goods.

Do I pay customs duty on top of the price?

No. The price you see is landed and final — shipping, duty and clearing are already included. You will never get a second bill, and you never have to clear anything at the port yourself. We import in our own name and handle all of it before your item reaches the pickup counter.

What warranty do I get?

Products are genuine and sourced new from the United States. Manufacturer warranty coverage may be limited to the United States and may not be honoured in Ghana. GH Tech Store provides a 7-day defect guarantee from pickup, subject to our Refund & Exchange Policy.

How soon can I collect my order?

Everything we list is already in Ghana and ready to collect. Orders are ready within 2 business days of payment and always within a maximum of 14 working days — in practice, most are ready the same or next business day. We message you on WhatsApp, SMS and email as soon as yours is ready. Full details are on our Delivery & Collection Policy page.

Can I get something you don't stock?

Yes. Use Request an Item, tell us the exact model, and we'll come back with a landed price in cedis — shipping, duty and clearing included. Asking costs nothing and puts you under no obligation. If you accept the quote we ask for a 10% deposit by mobile money so we can go and buy it; that deposit comes off your total, and the balance is only due once the item is in Ghana and ready to collect.

What payment methods do you accept?

You can pay online by card or mobile money through Paystack, or choose Pay on Pickup and settle in person at the counter when you collect. Manual mobile money and bank transfer are available on request. Deposits on requested items are taken by mobile money only — we send you the number and a reference after you accept your quote.

Can I check the item before I pay or accept it?

Yes, and we encourage it. Unpack and test the item with us at the counter — plug it in, power it on, check the box contents. Take as long as you need. If anything is damaged, incorrect, missing parts or not as described, do not accept it and we will refund you in full on the spot or replace it, whichever you prefer.

What if I change my mind?

Cancel any time before you collect and we refund you in full, with no deduction and no reason needed. After collection you have 7 days if a genuine fault appears. Full terms are on our Refund & Exchange Policy page.

How will I know when my order is ready?

We'll notify you via email or WhatsApp once your order is ready for collection. Please bring your order number and a valid ID when picking up.

How do I track my order?

Use the Track Order page and enter your order number, or log in to your account to see every order and its current status. You will also get an email and SMS at each stage — payment received, being prepared, ready for pickup and collected.

Do I need an account to order?

No. You can check out as a guest. Creating an account just makes it easier to track orders and reorder later.
