Before you buy
Drones are regulated in Ghana by the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA), and this applies to every drone regardless of weight — there is no exemption for lightweight models. Before you can legally fly, you must: register the aircraft with GCAA in person at their office at Kotoka International Airport in Accra; hold an RPAS Safety Course certificate; and renew that registration every year. Flying an unregistered drone carries civil penalties. Operating limits are 400ft maximum altitude, within visual line of sight, at least 30m from people and buildings not under your control, and at least 10km from airports. Note that DJI's software no longer blocks restricted airspace — it only warns — so staying legal is entirely down to you. We are completing our own GCAA vendor authorisation before we sell any drone. That is why this is listed as coming soon.
