Bose built its reputation on silence, and the QuietComfort Earbuds are the most accessible way to get it in an in-ear. Active noise cancellation is fully adjustable — dial it up to Quiet for a flight or a focus block, or switch to Aware when you need traffic, announcements and colleagues to come through. The transition is a single tap, and both modes are tunable in the Bose QCE app. Sound is classic QuietComfort: full, weighted low end without the mid-range muddiness that usually comes with it, and a 5-band EQ in the app if you want to shift the balance yourself. Calls are handled by an adaptive microphone system that isolates your voice from what is happening around you, and Bluetooth multipoint keeps the earbuds tied to a laptop and a phone at once so a meeting and an incoming call do not fight over the connection. Fit is the quiet advantage here. The included Fit Kit offers nine combinations of eartip and stability band, so the seal that noise cancelling depends on actually holds — through a run, a commute, or a full working day. An IPX4 rating covers sweat and rain, the earbuds run 8.5 hours per charge with the USB-C case carrying another 2.5 charges for 31.5 hours total, and the case also drops onto any third-party wireless charging pad.
